At the gates of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido, at 1,600 meters altitude, is the site of the highest bear caves of western Europe. In the Interpretation Centre you will discover how this species lived Missing Pyrenean area 9,000 years ago. Plus you'll see how their remains have been excavated at this site dated to 30,000 years ago.

Inside the cave you will find curious formations of stalactites and stalagmites, with many shapes and colors. You can still see remains of these bears that exceeded in size to the brown bear, if only fed on roots, bulbs and berries.
